Tuudo users once again had the opportunity to share their opinions in the annual user survey. The feedback provided by users helps us develop the app to offer as much benefit to students as possible. Additionally, the feedback provides valuable information to educational institutions about which services students particularly need and desire in their daily academic lives.
This year’s user survey was conducted between April 22nd and May 7th, 2024. A total of 21,131 students participated, with 16,399 being higher education students and the remaining 4,732 being secondary education students.
The results show a significant improvement in user satisfaction compared to the survey conducted at the end of 2022. Tuudo’s Net Promoter Score (NPS) increased, especially among secondary education students. For secondary education, Tuudo’s NPS is now +60, up from +45 in the previous survey. Among higher education students, Tuudo’s NPS this time was +62, showing a slight improvement over the previous measurement. Both results can be considered excellent.
Tuudo is a daily part of students’ lives
Tuudo has its place in students’ daily lives, and the survey shows that the majority of students use Tuudo at least once a day. In secondary education, 35% of respondents report using Tuudo once a day, while 25% use Tuudo 2–3 times a day. Just over 8% of respondents use Tuudo more than three times a day.
Also among higher education students, Tuudo is most often used daily. 20% of respondents use Tuudo once a day, 27% use Tuudo 2–3 times a day, and just over 11% use it more than three times a day.

Schedule and Student ID are the most used services on Tuudo
Schedule retains its place as the most used and useful service on Tuudo among higher education students. When averaging the responses of all higher education students, the timetable received a usefulness rating of 4.67 on a scale of 0–5. The next most useful services in the survey were academic performance records (4.42), student ID (4.23), lunch menus (4.12), and library services (4.11). Secondary education students most often use the student ID and lunch menu in Tuudo. These were also rated the most useful services along with the schedule.
Student benefits were highlighted especially in students’ requests, and the benefits received a usefulness rating of 3.91. The survey shows that there is high demand for relevant benefits and discounts among students, and more benefits are desired.

Tuudo succeeds in its role as a time-saver
By using Tuudo, students can save time and effort, as Tuudo is always within reach on their phone and it does not require re-logging in between uses. Most of the services students prefer can be found on Tuudo, so information does not need to be sought from multiple different channels.
In the user survey, students were able to assess how much time they feel they save by using Tuudo. In secondary education, the majority of respondents (55%) felt that Tuudo saves them an average of five minutes a day. In higher education, students feel they save even more time thanks to Tuudo. A total of 58% of respondents believe that using Tuudo saves them up to 10 minutes or more each day.

Tuudo’s ease of use and speed are highlighted again in students’ responses. Students really appreciate that important functions and services for their daily academic lives can be conveniently found in one place. In addition to traditional academic services, the Career paths section also receives praise.
“The app is simply the only ‘tool’ a student needs. It’s really convenient to have almost everything needed under one app.”
“I found the job search very good! I got an internship through it.”
